ShareThis Data Breach
Short version: If you have ever used social sharing service ShareThis, check your account and change your password. Also change the password anyplace else you used the same one (and don't do that again).
Longer version: ShareThis shared your name, email, date of birth, and password. Not on purpose, of course – they were hit with a data breach in or before July 2018, and the attacker made off with a treasure trove of data that has now shown up for sale on the dark web.
If your ShareThis account was affected, you should be getting an email notification (although I did not). ShareThis has disabled the accounts they know are affected – and they did disable my account, so that part is good, at least.
